Readers of international travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller voted the lake city of Udaipur in Rajasthan as the best leisure destination in India. Rajasthan State Tourism Minister Bina Kak received the Condé Nast Traveller India Award-2011 from Union Tourism Minister Subodh Kant Sahay in New Delhi on 3-4 December 2011 weekend.
The award opened up Rajasthan’s tourism sector to the globetrotters and package tour operators in a big way
