Public Services Guarantee Act in Rajasthan


Rajasthan joined the fleet of states to implement Public Services Guarantee Act.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on 14th Nov launched the act at a function in Ajmer.

The Rajasthan Public Services Guarantee Act provides for time bound disposal of 108 public services related to 15 departments of the state government.

The officers who fail to deliver services within the prescribed time frame are liable to be punished under the Public Services Guarantee Act.

The cash penalty ranges from Five hundred to Five thousand rupees. The Rajasthan Public Services Guarantee Act aims at bringing transparency in administration, apart from curbing corrupt practices.
