Indian swimmers bag 3 gold at Asian age group swimming C`ship



Indian swimmers[1] made a big splash at the 7th Asian age group swimming championship, clinching eight medals including three golds on the first day of the event at Jakarta.
          Ace swimmer Veerdhaval Khade won gold in the 100m butterfly stroke while Sandeep Sejwal won the yellow metal in the 50m breast stroke. Khade, Aaron D Souza, Anshul Kothari and Rehan Poncha won gold in 4x100 free style relay.
          Poncha, earlier in the day, grabbed a bronze in the 200m back stroke in boys open group.Meanwhile, Saurabh Sangvekar won a silver medal in 800m free style. He had earlier clinched a bronze in the 200m free style.
          In the girls's section, Surabhi Tipre won the bronze in the 400m free style. Tipre bagged another bronze after she along with Talasha Prabhu, Kshipra Mahajan and Richa Mishra won the 4x100 free style relay.

His name features in the Guiness Book of the World.
